Tillsonburg Glass & Mirror Ltd. is one of the longest running family owned and operated glass/glazing companies in Ontario. The business was originally founded in 1940 by Walter Reginald (Sam) Heckford in the basement of his home on Tillson Ave. Although we quickly outgrew that location, we have stayed on the same street throughout the generations. The Heckford family now operates out of their showroom located at 213 Tillson Ave., Tillsonburg, Ontario.
Sam was seceded by his son Wesley in 1957. Wesley Heckford welcomed his son Kirby Heckford into the business in 1983 and Kirby has recently welcomed his son Warren into the family business. Four generations in a family business is no small triumph in the business world of today.
We believe in giving back to the communities we live in and therefore we support numerous charities, community projects, activities, and local sports teams. We are a member of our local Chamber of Commerce, The London & District Construction Association, Economic Development Committee, Homebuilders Association, Canadian Independent Business Association, Window Wise, and S.A.W.D.A.C.
